Fast Reply Draw Rules

The following terms and conditions apply to the Conservative Lottery – 10 Thatcher Mugs Early Bird Fast Reply Bonus draw

1. Entry into the 10 Thatcher Mugs Early Bird Bonus Draw is open to existing Conservative Lottery cheque and postal order members who renew their subscription using any valid payment method, by the date indicated on their renewal letter (the "Renewal Date").

2. The 10 Thatcher Mugs Early Bird Bonus Draw will take place on the last Friday in June 2022 and quarterly thereafter and any members who renew their lottery entry, will be eligible to enter.

3. The draw will be made utilising a random number generator that has been tested and approved by an independent third-party test house.

4. The prizes will be one of 10 Margaret Thatcher Mugs. There are no alternatives to this prize and no interest is payable. The prize will be delivered/despatched within 21 days. Entrants will be notified as to any change in the prize structure.

5. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.

6. Further 10 Thatcher Mug Early Bird Bonus draw information, can be obtained by telephoning the Conservative Lottery helpline on 01524 753265 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm).

7. The Promoter(s) reserve the right to use 10 Thatcher Mug Early Bird Bonus draw winners' names for promotional purposes. These will only be utilised in summary, e.g. Mrs Smith from Surrey.

8. The Promoters may (without giving any reason or notice) decline to accept an application or terminate or suspend the scheme.

9 .The Promoter's decisions made pursuant to these terms and conditions shall, once made, be final and binding.

Summer 2023 Fast Reply Draw Rules

New players to the Conservative Lottery and existing players upgrading their entries (between 12th May 2023 and 22nd June 2023) will automatically be entered into the Fast Reply Draw “The Draw”. The Draw will be made utilising a random number generator that has been tested and approved by an independent third-party test house. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication. Winners will be notified within 7 days of the Draw taking place on 23 June 2023. Each new player or upgrading existing player will be granted one entry for the opportunity to win one of three prizes detailed below.

First prize - £10,000 paid by cheque to the winner within 7 days of the Draw taking place. The prize also includes a 10-minute phone call with the Prime Minister. Following winner notification, the Conservative Party will request a preferred contact number from the winner and discuss details of the call, including timelines which may be subject to change to suit the Prime Minister’s schedule. The winner will be subject to security checks ahead of the call.

Second prize - The second prize is a Jet2holidays package holiday up to the value of £5000 (to any European destination from any UK base). Travelling from any Jet2.com UK based airport to any European destination, including one item of hang luggage up to 10kg and one item of checked baggage of up to 22kg per person. Any additional passengers booked will be charged at normal rates for both flights and accommodation. No cash alternative is available. The Conservative Party will forward the winner details of how to redeem directly with Jet2holidays. Your holiday must be redeemed by 31 December 2024. If you fail to redeem your prize by the date specified above, the prize will be deemed forfeited and Jet2holidays reserves the right to re-draw the prize and award it to another entrant. All dates submitted by the winner are subject to availability checks with the hotel and Jet2.com, the airline, and our guidelines are shown below. Please note, prize flights are limited on the flights operated by Jet2.com and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.

Jet2holidays may in its absolute discretion change these terms and conditions without notice at any time. Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday for administrative reasons without prior notice. Please note that schedules are not guaranteed. Flights to certain destinations are only available on certain days. Jet2holidays reserve the right (but shall be under no obligation) to offer an alternative property/destination at anytime, to the equivalent prize value. This prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The prize may only be taken by the competition winner, who must be over 18 years old and travel along with any accompanying passenger(s) notified to Jet2holidays, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified within the prize details. Flights must be taken at the same time from the same airport. All optional flight/board/accommodation supplements and insurance are not included and must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party. Travel insurance is not included. Jet2holidays advises that you take out your own insurance. The prize is subject to Jet2holidays’ and Jet2.com’s general terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions and http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel, together with any relevant visa and/or other entry requirements. Winners details will be published online and may be used in future marketing activity. Acceptance of the prize is deemed to be acceptance of these conditions. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellation or changes to the prize, or for any loss or damage entrants or accompanying passengers suffer as a result of redeeming the prize provided that nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays’ negligence or for fraud. These terms are subject to English law and by submitting an entry, entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Third prize - £1,000 paid by cheque to the winner within 7 days of the Draw having taken place. The prize also includes a cricket bat signed by the Prime Minister. Delivery details will be communicated directly to the winner.

The Conservative Party reserves the right to replace all prizes with items of the same value at the Party’s discretion.

In 2023, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 1,089 in our weekly draws and 1 in 795 in our seasonal Superdraws.

In 2023, £1,265,569.00 was raised from ticket sales in the Conservative Lottery and seasonal Superdraws, with 7.17% being spent on Prizes, 18.76% spent on Expenses and a fantastic 74.07% being donated to the Conservative Party. This translated to an incredible £937,366.57!
